Advantages: A classic Black & White Historical story. Great range of special features. Disadvantages: Commentary is a bit poor...but that's not a big criticism.
I suddenly realised I?d had this DVD for AGES and still not got round to finishing my review of it. Before I tell you about this one I need to give you a little plot overview of this Historical adventure starring the first Doctor (William Hartnell) and his companions Ian, Barbara and Susan. Join me in three paragraphs time if you don?t want to know!
The Doctor and his companions find themselves materialising in fifteenth century Mexico, the centre of the Aztec civilisation, in an Aztec tomb. Barbara is mistaken for the reincarnation of the High Priest Yetaxa (because she is found in his tomb) after she wanders out of the TARDIS and gets locked outside. The time travellers get into a dangerous situation when Barbara tries to use her knowledge of history (she was a history teacher back on earth) to change the whole basis ...
This was a nice suprise this film.
Ben stiller who palys one of the lead parts is looking for a job, because he lost his last one, and he sees that there is a job at the museum.
He applies for the job and gets it, but, he thinks it is going to be easy, and when he starts he is given a manual, which is is surpose to read, which he doesn't
The manual tell him what to do and how to do it and what order to do things. The manual is thrown on the floor.
She starts wlaking around and having a look around the museum just checking things really, and whne he comes back down to the reception area where there is a T-Rex, it has gone, so he starts looking around and shouting people.
Then he see the T-Rex getting a drink from the tap, and he is horrified and thinks he is dreaming.
Eventually the whole museum comes the life ...
Advantages: Great comedy and pure entertainment Disadvantages: a little slow to begin.. but not for long though.
