The Atomic Brain ============
The plot is simple, Hetty is a rich old lady and dissatisfied with her looks, she is very vain. She wants to live forever and she wants to stay young forever. Don’t all women? But then a stroke of luck she comes across a brilliant, if a little eccentric scientist, Otto Frank. He has been experimenting with atomic energy and has found a way to transplant brains from body to body. However up until now he has only done this with a cat.
Hetty decides to fund Otto with as much money as it takes and meanwhile begins to plot and begins to look for the perfect body for her brain to go into.
She hires 3 housekeepers, Bea is a British beauty and has a great body, Anita is a stunning and beautiful Mexican, again with a superbly athletic body, And lastly there is Nina who is an Austrian, a plain looking woman but with a nice personality.
Hetty picks them carefully and watches them closely, even when the shower! Otto however gets wind of her plan and thing go awry from this point on.
There are lots of nudity scenes and some nasty violence but the ending is just superb. Go Otto. The dialogue is not up to much and the scenery is fairly all of the house and laboratory. No real special effects to speak of.
Film is also under the name of ‘Monstrosity’
Worth a watch, just for the ending if nothing else. Meow ! Recommended but don’t go out of your way.

The Atomic Brain =
Ok the plot line on this movie is a bit weird so stay with me.
Brilliant scientist, Otto Frank is experimenting with Atomic power and all its various uses. He harnesses its potential and soon realises that it can be used in transplanting the human brain from one body to another.
Enter his wife into the story, Hetty, she is a self obsessed and aging old woman. The only reason that Otto is with her is that she is funding ... ...nice Austrian Nina.
She has the evil idea to transplant her brain from her old decrepit body and into one of their bodies.
Who will she choose? How will she kill that one and will her husband carry out the operation for her?
An odd and annoying narration is on going throughout the movie. Though there is dialog, it is secondary to the narration. There is lots and lots of naked bodies to be seen in this movie but it really does not lift the film ...

Advantages: Great effects, lots of action Disadvantages: Very, very poor plot. Too far-fetched.
...wait....the ladder breaks and he's in trouble again! Somehow he escapes again but no, he's about to be eaten alive - or is he? It's nearly as bad as a Rambo film where one man kills an army of thousands single-handedly! There are a couple of scenes where it looks like the shark is killed, firstly from a gas explosion and secondly from electrocution. Of course, this is no ordinary shark - this shark is probably capable of surviving an atomic explosion! Furthermore, why on Earth did the researchers choose sharks for their experiment - do sharks brains have the capacity to be more intelligent than humans? I'm no Barry Norman but I know a good film when I see one and Deep Blue Sea is certainly not a good film.
Deep Blue Sea will have its fans but I'm more into something that makes sense. I have to say the special effects are very well done...
