The Amicus Boxed set is a wonderful Collectors piece for any vintage horror fan. I particularly appreciate the shape of the box, although it is difficult to put on a shelf with other DVDs it is also a bit awkward to open and the CDs fall out. Which is really annoying. .

Advantages: Good films, quite entertaining, a must for Hammer horror fans Disadvantages: poor quality packaging even though it looks good

Dr Terrors House of Horror Amicus uses its multiple stories in one format, as The mysterious Doctor Terror boards a train and tells the begins to read the tarot cards of the other 5 people in the train compartment.
This film is definitive of Amicus style of film If you watch one watch this one.
The House that dripped blood Another of Amicus multiple stories in one films the pretext is an investigator interviews the custodian of an old house and is told of the fates of its previous tenants. The star-studded cast includes Peter Cushing, Ingrid Pitt, Christopher Lee and Jon Pertwee.
This film is really enjoyable it is good to see Ingrid at the best this one is my favorite.
The Beast must die
A 70s murder mystery in which one of the suspects is a werewolf. Watch out for the werewolf break!!!!
I didn’t like this film as much as the others it is a departure from what amicus does best.
Asylum Yet another Multiple stories in one film, This one involves An asylum warden recounting the cases of the inmates. With a twist in the tale.
This film has some good moments and is my girlfriends favourite from the box.
So in conclusion: Good films, nice looking but low quality packaging. If I didn’t already own it I would definitely buy it again.
