Advantages: Classic Disney animation. Disadvantages: Boring, lacks the Disney comedy.
Not the best Disney offering by a long stretch. Although it does have that Disney feel about it, it lacks the fun loving charasmatic charactorisation so familiar in most of the other animated classics. It is also devoid of almost all comedy moments, focusing on a very sterile story telling approach...
This is definately one to complete your collection of all 40something films rather than to entertain todays youth. The DVD is also pretty much a vanilla ... ...release. At the end of the day if your a Disney fan as I am this will appeal and you will want it for your collection. Just dont expect too much... If you're not a Disney fan you would probably be better spending your pennies on a different Disney film or if its the story your after then try the Burton "Sleepy Hollow" instead... ...

to be honest i prefer the original version with jonny depp but his is a good example of the film to young children. although rather scary scenes may scare some youngsters they may also find it exciting and different to other movies they may have seen as this has an obvious unique style to it. my little sister loved this film and seems to enjoy the scarier kind of films more and i must say i ...
