ConsI want more!

It was the highlight of Saturday teatime on ITV, The A Team, a show that an average teenager or child was easily the highlight of the weekend. From the action packed opening titles that introduced all the main characters to the end of the hour when the lead character would always get the last...

These days I don’t watch much TV, but when I was growing up that wasn’t the case at all. Without the internet to distract me I grew up watching shows like MacGyver, Knight Rider and The A-team. It was a simpler time before reality TV took over television. Right now Hollywood is going through a...

ConsNothing for me, really

A matter of expectations At a time when it seems that remakes are coming out of the woodwork, the happy viewer will be the one who expects nothing but a whole bunch of fun. In all honesty, you're hardly ever going to get a remake or modern version of something that's going to live up to something...

ConsIts bad

Well I grew up watching this show and just like Transformers, I had massive misgivings about this film from its first announcement, how can you update something so rooted in the 80's, the characters were perfect, the action overblown and ridiculous without inciting violence and the stories just...

One of my favourite TV shows during the eighties was The A-Team. In 2010, a film adaptation of the TV series was made following these soldiers of fortune. The A-Team is about four army soldiers, Hannibal, Face, B.A. Baracus and Murdock, who are part of an elite Special Forces unit in Iraq. They...
