It's a kind of (Black) Magic

Advantages: Delicious rich plain chocolate selection
Disadvantages: Chocolate hangover will ensue the next day

I just love plain chocolate and in my book you don't get a better selection for your money than Nestlé's Black Magic. The best plain chocolate is made simply with cocoa, sugar, vanilla and soya lecithin. If the chocolate has less than 50% cocoa then it will have been made with lots of sugar, which destroys the cocoa flavour. Similarly, chocolate made with more than 75% of cocoa will be too bitter, and lacking in sweetness. ~ PACKAGING & PRICE ~ Black Magic have been around for years of course but Nestlé constantly update and improve the selection. You can buy them in most supermarkets and lots of newsagents. Luckily for me they sell them in my local farm shop, so they are just a short trip in the car when there's rubbish on television and I get that 9.00pm craving for chocolate. Black magic chocolates

Advantages: Throw away chocs and use the trays for making ice cubes
Disadvantages: that some people out there believe these to be chocolates.

I know that crab sandwiches have disappointing bits of shell in them, chicken curry has bits of bone in it sometimes and Mummy doesn't seem to love Daddy in quite the same way anymore but i was hoping that Black Magic would just stay the same. I've just been given a box of black magic chocolates by a friend and would like to warn anyone in my age group, 48, that 'they are not what they used to be'! My dad used to buy them for Mum as a romantic gift and i remember the purple piece of crystalized violet on top of the violet creams, probably because they were not the best of the box and got left behind the longest... but, the overall opening was a delight, colourful and you just wanted to dive in..... But, no longer - Just in case anyone is about to take a nostalgic trip back to the good ol days of proper chocolate making, don't buy ...

Advantages: Much improved visual quality & extra features
Disadvantages: music on dolby sound doesnt sound any different

this DVD as it's of 'muppet magic' which is one of the first productions made by Henson and his crew, but in later ones you start to get more of a feel for them as the muppet family grows and you get miss piggy, animal, gonzo and even on to the fraggle rock gang. NUMBER OF DISCS: 1 CERTIFICATE: U PRICE: £4.99 PLACE OF PURCHASE: amazon.co.uk REGION: 2 Running for a total of 62 minutes this DVD is one of the originals that have just been brought out on new DVD format for all us Muppet lovers to purchase in order to replace those bulky and unsightly VHS versions. Although the graphics have been improved slightly the music hasn't but I suppose this is due to the original being quite low tech. However I still love it and am glad I bought the DVD version as it's got extra features that my old video didn't have. These features of course ...
