...Vishal and Anjali Dixit are settled in Bangkok with their young daughter who has diabetes and is awaiting an organ transplant. The marriage in under stress so when Vishal meets the beautiful Roma, also married with a small child and having marital problems, on the train on the way to work they become friends and start to develop feelings for each other. The day they decide to take their relationship to the next level and book into a hotel, they are robbed in the hotel room and Roma is raped whilst Vishal lies helpless on the floor. Anjali is worried about Vishal's behaviour and he tries to repair his marriage only for someone to start blackmailing him about the incident in the hotel room. Vishal's life is turned upside down and gets worse and worse.

Make no mistake this is definitely what was once termed a 'B' movie.
Right from the start you can see you're going to get no more and no less than a low budget, shakily written and poorly edited special effects movie.
I use the word special effect in its broadest sense.
A rescue spaceship is traversing across space in answer to a distress call sent out by another of their fleet when they encounter a strange pyramidical shape.
They begin to see and experience their deepest and darkest fears as horror upon horrors begin to materialise and slowly wear them down and mentally destroy them.
What must discover what is inside the pyramid and destroy it. This becomes their mission but how they achieve it and at what cost to the crew slowly becomes apparent.

Night Train Murders is a more positive movie than Last House On The Left; and its sad that it never received more acclaim than the aforementioned movie. Tragically from one point of view it did receive more acclaim. The movie released in the UK as Late Night Trains (Or Don't Ride On Late Night trains) was banned in 1984, and until this year remained banned. The movie had to be heavily edited although there was little to be seen to gain a release in other countries and continues to remain banned in Australia, Poland, and most of the far eastern countries; the edits confuse me because as I stated earlier there is little to see, it's all suggestion for the most part.
The big achievement with this Shameless DVD release is not only is the movie now getting seen in the UK for the first time...
