On October 9, 2007 the 80's techno inspired duo, Justin Wartfield and Adam 12 of She Wants Revenge released their second album, ThisIsForever.
The follow-up to their self-titled debut album, the band still focused on the same ideas of love, heartbreak, revenge, deception and so forth. ThisIsForever shows the influences of 80's artist such as Depeche Mode and The Cure. The hypnotic beats with the rhythmatic guitars draws a listener into a world of affair and unstabled relationships.
The first track, "First, Love" leads you into the core of the album, which is love, either if it's good or unsatisfying. "Written In Blood" with its catching opening beat begins to tell a story of a man wanting to be with a woman who won't settle down for no one. She lives her life the way she wants and being bound into holy matrimony is a threat ...

of the rest of the movie: at times it's incredibly unpleasant to watch, but never strays from the true grittiness that makes for wonderfully satisfying British cinema.
The Northern council estate is the perfect setting for twelve year old Shaun (played by Thomas Turgoose, in an absolutely astonishing performance) who is adopted by a group of local skinheads. Shaun is bullied at school for his clothes, and feels lost after his father returned from the Falklands war in a body bag. Like every person in their adolescent years, he yearns for some recognition, and people to talk to, so he persuades his mother to buy him a pair of Doc Martins, lets the girls shave his head, and gracefully accepts a Fred Perry shirt just to fit in.
The characters in Thisis England are so authentic that you won't even realise you're watching a documentary about 80s ...
