DVD Description
TALLEDEGA NIGHTS: Ricky Bobby--with his bleached-blonde wife, cute sons Walker and Texas Ranger, and dim sidekick Cal--has got it made. He is NASCAR's most popular driver, and nearly every aspect of his life is endorsed by a recognisable product. Yet his racetrack kingdom is not unshakeable: two formidable opponents, his unpleasable father Reese and a flashy new opponent--the openly gay French import Jean--threaten to hijack his crown and expose his vulnerabilities. In BALLS OF FURY child prodigy Randy Daytona is forced to leave the world of table tennis competition in disgrace when he suffers defeat at the hands of an East German during the 1988 Olympics. Randy's life is a shambles until he gets recruited by a CIA agent to infiltrate a table tennis tournament to the death, run by an evil triad leader.
Advantages: Will ferrell is in it Disadvantages: Script, cast, lack of laughs
...As a fan of Will Ferrell in films as Anchorman and Zoolander, I bought this DVD on a whim and was very disappointed with the standard of the film and found myself checking my DVD player to see how much longer i would have to endure it.
Will Ferrell himself provides a decent acting performance, but is made to work very hard for his money in a script bereft of the wit or charm of Anchorman. Unfortunately there are no real stand out performances among the supporting cast to help the film along.
The DVD itself has plenty of extra features to keep fans of the film happy, but if you are considering buying the film without having seen it, I'd recommend renting it first, so you know what you will be getting for your cash....

Advantages: funny-great acting-nice storyline Disadvantages: Wont be remembered for too long..
...this movie around two months ago and was absolutely hilarious. It makes you laugh weather you like it or not and will farell is soo funny he is well known for amazing comedy movies and has starred in some funny movies such as Blades of Glory,TalladegaNights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and Curious George.
A great mix of characters and well preforming actors makes this a must see movie. This is the sort of movie that will not be remembered for its storyline but for its jokes and hilarious moments, What more could you expect from Will farell and the way he acts makes it seem all the more acceptable.

Advantages: Quite funny, some cool table tennis scenes Disadvantages: A little too slapstick and saturated with too many jokes.
...I admit it is quite a retarded show. At first, I had high hopes for the humour level of Balls of Fury after hearing by friends putting it in good books. However, it was as nonsensical as its movie name. The show stars Dan Fogler, who acts as Randy Daytona battle through the ranks of table tennis, fighting players such as "The Dragon", a nine-year old girl and ultimately competing in a high level competition against a kleptomaniac who is being hunted down by the FBI. Full of slapstick humour and nonsensical lingos, this show is indeed funny but saturated with so many jokes that it gets boring after a while. However, it is quite a new concept and definitely worth a watch for a few laughs! Happy watching!...
