Advantages: Lennard Pearce as Grandad, & Classic Episodes Disadvantages: Not all the Best & Special Episodes, No Extras
.
If you or a person is mad on 'Only Fools & Horses' who keeps going back to Delboys laughs and Rodneys groans
then I would recommend looking at another Box Series different to this.
Whilst the price for what you get is at a great value, the price for myself and many others of £30 - £40 isn't a cheap price. So give some thought to the BoxSet you purchase because
it may be that you would prefer the older First Series where it all kicked off with the late Lennard Pearce as Grandad to the later Uncle Albert played by Buster Merryfield.
Once your money has gone, you will be more than satisfied with your purchase, but is there another Box Series that would of gave you more for the same money?
If you are not looking to complete the entire collection then you may think about looking ahead to more recent episodes in the other Series Box ...
Advantages: Loads of episodes! Well priced, Very Funny Disadvantages: None
This is classic British Comedy at it's best!!!
It follows Brothers, Del and Rodney's up hill struggle, wheeling and dealing around the South London area, in their efforts to become "millionairs", getting envolved in all sorts of trouble along the way!
They are based in Peckham with the ever so crafty Grandad, running their own, "Trotters Independant Traders" business, with no intentions of paying Income Tax or VAT!!
I grew up watching Only Fools And Horses with my Family and loved the non-stop, laughs a minute gags that were thrown all over the place!
I now own The Complete Series 1 To 7 (BoxSet) and watch it all the time with my little boys and still find it as hillarious as I did the first time I saw it!
This is a must for fans of Comedy and as well as sharing the ups and downs ...
Advantages: none Disadvantages: loads of scenes and music scores have been cut out
this is the only fools and horses complete collection boxset but in my eyes it isnt because loads of scenes have been cut and musical scores changed or cut out and laughter tracks added onto episodes that didnt originally have a laughter track. so its not really the complete collection is it with all these things changed and added the episode a royal flush is the one that been edited the most loads of scenes have been cut and a laughter track added wich spoils the episode completely. i would strongly recommend anyone that want to see all the episodes in all their glory is to tape them off uk gold its better than this so called complete collection that the bbc have released im still waiting for the genuine complete collection. ...
