This was the record that DMX dropped in December 1998 as his follow up to his debut album, It's Dark and Hell Is Hot, released in May 1998. If you like a bit of gore in your books and you havent ever read one of Mastertons books then start with this. I was gripped by the end of the first chapter although it made me cry when a guy decaptiated 2 of his children because of a promise he made and didnt want them killed in a more painful way that was coming to them. His imagination ran wild with the main storyline. I loved and have read several more of his books since and recommended this book to my friends who also like horror books. Masterton puts great detail into the killings and describes everything down to the colour of the blood and the state of the human tissue. A boring part of the story was only small with regards to a laboratory pig called captain Black but bear with this as it this part of the story does pick up and he ends up killing a few people in the book ...
