...The isle of man TT races is the worlds greatest,fastest and most followed road racing in the world. It has been going since 1907 and is extremely popular with all sorts of people. Every year people from babies in prams to elderly and everthing in between turn out in there thousands to watch this nail biting action. Famous racers go round the 37 mile circuit at break neck speed on this gorgeous island. After the TT is over the island goes back to one of the most peaceful places in the world where people are so laid back its hard work to get out of bed!!! This dvd can only begin to give you a feel of the TT but its a great place to start!!!

This DVD is from the "World's greatest albums" series. It is based on Iron Maiden's self titled album, which was released in 1981. It has information from respected music critics, former Iron Maiden members and band insiders. It has footage from gigs and TV studios. It also provides an analysis of the album. We also see from Dennis Stratton and Tony Moore.

Advantages: An amazing display of driving Disadvantages: slightly cheesy production values
...Tony Pond was one of Britain's foremost rally drivers in the 70s and 80s, in such cars as the TR7 and Metro 6R4. Although he never actually won a championship event, he came third in the RAC rally and won many international events. He also circuit raced successfully, competing in a Rover SD1 in the European Touring Car championship. This association with Rover continued after he retired, and led to his attempt in 1990 to lap the world famous TT motorcycle circuit on the Isle of Man, at an average of over 100 mph in a Rover 800 Vitesse. This video is the in-car footage of that attempt.
The production values of the video come across as slightly amateurish, most notably in the cheesy commentary, and blatant plugging of Rover and Shell. Initially it comes across as an inhouse corporate training video rather than a commerical release. Don...
