As you can see practically this film has EVERYTHING!
It was released about a year ago and is a must see in cinema only I made the mistake of not seeing it in cinema. But I have recently bought it from a massive clearance in HMV stores. Originally the price was about £13.99 but it was £4.99 when I bought it. It’s quite old now that’s why but it’s a brilliant film it is chic and stylish and rated at 15.
The cast that was chosen for this film had an amazing talent they did their job perfectly and I haven’t seen so much talent since watching Pulp Fiction which I would think the as the greatest film ever made!
The film is a total of 95minutes approximately so it rushes into the film but in a good way because it doesn’t look rush but indeed the film finished quite quickly.

\\ About the movie //
Swordfish is the password that terrorist leader Gabriel uses about his mission he thinks what he is doing is beneficial for his country and for the whole of the USA. He is a spy for a senator and creates nuclear weapons underground.
But he needs to hack into a bank system which he can transfer money out of banks and into his own personal account and to do this he needs the help from the worlds number one hacker Stanley.
Stanley has been recently been probative out of jail for hacking and is being kept a close eye on. His teenage daughter has been kept from him, Holly and she lives with her mother at a Beverly Hills estate with her mother’s boyfriend a Porn King.
Gabriel sends his assistant Ginger to try and persuade Stanley to do the job and if he still refuses they take his daughter. He has no motive but to help Gabriel for his daughter’s sake.
He meets him at a club that Ginger takes him to. One thing about Gabriel is that no one has any trace of him they don’t know where he lives who he is and most important if he even exists.
Stanley doesn’t want to get involved with all the trouble again and is given 60 seconds by Gabriel to hack into this FBI record on the computer while getting a blow job by a blonde assistant of Gabriel’s called Helga.
He gets the job done and is welcomed to the team. He sits and works non stop at a giant computer system hacking into bank systems. What’s in it for him simply a $10 million pay! This will guarantee custody of his daughter and a brand new house (he lives at a dumpsite in a caravan) and maybe even a funky new car.
Things get out of hand as Stanley slowly acknowledges the truth. As Ginger tells him that things are always an illusion they are never quite what they seem to be. He gets quite confused by this advice from her but still carries on working.
He occasionally goes off secretly to meet his daughter while the FBI is puzzled what Stanley is doing back in LA as he was banned from leaving the state of Texas. They want to know why and who Stanley is working for.
Ginger confesses to Stanley that she is part of the crime squad and is a DA. He just can’t believe and wishes never to get involved in the mess. He warns her he got her into the mess he can get her out.
\\ Juicy bit //
I can’t tell you the rest of the story folks this bit is where all the action is and well if you want to know you just got to watch the film!!
But I will give you a short hint of what happens at the juicy bits:

There at the bank where Stanley must hack into the final bank system and transfer a LOT of money into Gabriel’s account and if he doesn’t Holly gets it Tarantino style. So Stanley ties in the money and starts to walk out but what Gabriel doesn’t know is that in a few seconds all the money would be gone and the system would be lost. But Gabriel takes Stanley back and makes him pay! By the way never mess with Gabriel he has explosives like 3 times of TNT on all the bank workers it’s like a giant nuclear bomb but strapped on the people. He kills Ginger in front of Stanley because Stanley had a sexual passion for ginger.
He lures them all onto this bus which he demands the FBI to take them to a runway, but the thing is that the bus with the hostages aren’t really going to the runway that was just a diversion. This giant helicopter comes down and brings down some leads which are then hooked up on the bus and I couldn’t believe it either but there was a flying bus!!
The bus flies on top of a giant building, Gabriel leaves to join the helicopter but Stanley is still on the bus and jumps off and shoots the helicopter, it bursts into flames killing everyone.
But here is the illusion the biggest twist Ginger is not dead but comes in disguise and takes all the money and meets Gabriel on a boat in the middle of nowhere. He is not dead even if they show a burnt body in the morgue.
It was some fucked up shit imagine being in that position as Stanley was (sorry about the language). Anyway Stanley had all charges dropped and got back together with his daughter and then the film ended with Gabriel and Ginger still alive!!!
\\ Overall //
Overall I think that this film was brilliant it had so many twist that you couldn’t even predict. The casting was just magnificent and this film is definitely a must see!!
You can buy Swordfish on video or even DVD. It comes in a black plastic hard case video cover, with a PVC label which has Swordfish in Green and pictures of Stanley, Gabriel, Ginger and the FBI agent sitting down in front of a lap top computer. At the back of the box is a small description of what the film is about and how it’s classified and some other additional information and some small images which are small clips of the contents of the film.

This is a very comprehensive opinion. But I got the impression (I saw it at a college cinema about 2 weeks ago) that Gabriel actually WAS a special government agent aimed at stopping terrorists by giving OTT retribution... Maybe it's just me, I dunno! But good mindless violence I agree.
