...incredible. If you are a street fighter fan or are a fan of Manga/anime then you should definately check this out. You can find it at most shops really cheap now as it has been out for a while but it is worth every penny. This is ten thousand times better than that piece of garbage (street fighter movie starring Van Damme) and is exactly how street fighter should be done.
Now I think that this version which I am reviewing is the ultimate uncut one. ... ...version and on the other side the original japanese version, And to be honest there is only about one minute added on to the uncut version and that can only be seen on the japanese side.
The story centers around the main character Ryu and how he is training to become the greatest fighter. In this movie you will see al 16 of the world warriors and also a few second glimpse at Akuma who is selling fruit at a store.
This movie last around an hour ...

Advantages: The only advantage I can think of is the name of the film. Disadvantages: the whole film, the way the characters are portrayed, no fei long.
...as the main protagonist but why the hell did they have Van Damme who is Belgian. Its also funny how hey put the two main characters from the game (Ryu and Ken) as the worst fighters of them all and have them running around the street as con men.
I bet the main reason why this film sucked was probably because the producers spent all of their budget on Van Damme. I know I have probably been abit too harsh in reviewing this movie but I don't blame the people who made the film I actually blame Capcom for allowing this film to be released in cinemas let alone on DVD.
If you want something that shows what streetfighter is really about then you should check out StreetFighter2 the animatedmovie....

...Plot Details: This opinion reveals major details about the movie's plot.
Released roughly around the same time, in the UK anyway, to the video market that Jean Claude Van Damme's career-killing live action movie was released, Streetfighter 2:The AnimatedMovie was met with a reception far warmer than it's live action counterpart, and is regarded by many in a very positive light.
I personally first saw the movie a few times upon release, before buying it on VHS just before the big DVD boom, and about 2 years ago or so I recieved the R2 DVD of it as a Christmas present. I had only ever read good press concerning it, so always assumed that it was as good as I remembered it seeming in my youth.
