I've got the film of friend who likes to buy commercial horror films from Internet. CD circled among friends and acquaintances for a while. Nothing too spectacular. Many people saw it by now. This is DVD movie, not the cinema kind. I guess you can call it Sunday afternoon film*. You don't have the need to keep CD, but yet the film keeps on circling.
This is a classic big budget horror. A yacht crew running on ship-wreak floating on the sea. Inhabited husk of a long-lost Italian ocean liner. Here, we have violence, graphic details of horror, some nudity, and creepy sexual situations. In short, everything that one horror needs.

Advantages: Erm... the opening scene is excellent and so is the very end... Disadvantages: ... it's the bit in the middle that's rubbish!

Fast forward 40 years and a team of professional maritime salvagers are approached by a pilot who has seen a mystery ship drifting in the Bering Sea. He wants to go along with the salvage crew and claim a percentage of whatever money is made from the ship. The deal is done and they set of in the salvagers (small) tug boat. They find the ship and *surprise, surprise* the ship the pilot happens to have seen is none other than the Antonia Graza, now deserted and in a terrible state of disrepair. In true horror film style, even when members of their crew start dying horribly and it's blinding obvious that something nasty is happening on board they stay and look around. This is anothor one of my favourites.
Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore in Ghost.
This is a very touching story.
Sam (Patrick Swayze) and Demi Moore (Molly) and Whoopi Goldberg who won Oscars for this film
They are on a night and out sadly sam is stabbed, but they his ghost immediately appears and you see him running after the thugs that killed him.
He doesnt realise straight away that he is dead, but one he realises he tries to find someone who can help him. This is where Whoopi comes in, she apparently can connect with the other side, she thinks she cant but she can.
Sam goes to her place where so does the readings for other people, and tries starts talking to himself, Whoopi who in the film is called Odma Brown (forgive my spelling) heres him and she saids "who said that" sam realises she can here him and says can you ...
