Finally the complete set of is available having watched this on TV I bought it as soon as it became available. I must say that I was not disappointed with the purchase, with just over 30 episodes following the unique residents of craiglang.

It follows the adventures of Jack Jarvis and Victor McDade, with many friends, Winston the booky addict, Isa the gossip, Navid the Indian shopkeeper with the Scottish accent, Tam the penny pincher, Boaby the Barman of the Clansman, Pete the Jakey and more throughout the series.

Still Game has a great variety of stories all of which you can picture your grandparents in making this series really hit home.

Series 1

Flittin:
The first episode sees Jack moving from his house to Victors apartment block
Faimly:
Jack receives an unclear message from his son and sets off to find out when his son may be arriving.
Cauld:
With the Scottish winter setting in our pensioners must find a unique way to get some extra heat.
Courtin':
Jack leaves Victor in the lurch as he set his sights on the charity shop's Barbra.
Waddin':
The wedding of Navid is taking place and Jack and Victor are without a ticket.
Scones:
Jack and Victor witness Tam win a competition and try to out do him by creating their very own scone slogan.

Series 2

Gairden:
Jack and Victor's park has been taken over by neds and Winston tries to sort this out himself.
Wummin:
Winston manages to scam a home help as Jack and Victor try to help an old friend whose recently lost his wife.
Doacters:
Jack and Victor get a new anti-depressant to help them feel better as Tam and Winston fight over the library lady.
Breif:
Jack and Victor get themselves a new motor over Manky Franky and Tam after a bidding frenzy both of who are not amused.
Tappin':
The residents of Craiglang suddenly acquire money just as a new money dealer appears.
Scran:
Navid goes on holiday and leaves his shop in the hands of Jack and Victor who sell food to the local builders, upsetting the competition.
Shooglies:
Jack and Victor have their 60th anniversary of being friends with an eventful trip into town.
Buntin':
Pete the Jakey suddenly turns up clean shaven and suited up causing Jack and Victor to find out what is going on. Navid also seems to have a fox as Winston and Shug have a plan to help.
Dug:
Jack and Victor fall out over Victor's son and Isa's leeching husband returns to Craiglang.

Series 3

Hoaliday:
Jack and Victor are out in Canada Visiting Jack's daughter. Attending Ice-hockey and going to Niagra Falls.
Swottin':
Jack and Victor decide to attend a first aid course, as the Clansman decides to have a pub quiz.
Cairds:
Boaby bars the team from the clansman so they produce a mini Vegas to try to con Tam.
Big Yin':
The Neds are running riot in Craiglang and Jack and Victor call on an old friend to sort them out.
Oot: Archie Craiglang's hermit is forced out of his house for a few days and Jack and Victor take him under their wing.
Aff: Winston has some troubles with his leg and Victor pretends to be sick causing his son to appear.

Series 4

Kill Wullie:
The café gets and attractive new waitress who gains the eye of Craiglang's pensioners. They begin to think she may have a sinister side however.

Who's the Daddy:
A local construction worker plans to knock down the clansman, but Jack, Victor and Winston think one of them may be his father.

Series 5

Drama:
Jack and Victor win a trip to a local whisky distillery and have a little too much to drink.
A Fresh Lick:
Jack and Victor help Isa redecorate her flat with disastrous consequences
Smoke on the Water:
It's Victor's 75th birthday and Jack organises a special trip down the river.
Hard Nuts:
A TV show wants to put the Clansman on Blighty's Hardest Pubs. The regulars must try their best to convince the show they are hard.
All the Best:
Jack and Victor become chauffeurs for the days as Winston decides to leave Craiglang.
Saucy:
Jack and Victor go to visit Winston in Finport. As Tam begin to fall for his wife sister back in Craiglang.

The accents used in the show may require some getting used to if you have not heard it before. Once you have watched the first series and discovered the unique personalities of the cast you will be in tear of laughter every time you watch.

I highly recommend this series as a great buy and guarantee that you will not be disappointed by this unique humour.

I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good? If you add to this, or if you change it to be posted as a "Film Only" review, which can be done by accessing "edit review" above the review and changing the drop down menu under the "Which format are you reviewing?" question at the bottom, please let me know and I'll re-rate.
