i ve only just bought this film and think it is great it has got two discs with it and the story is writing by stephen king.I have seen the old shining with jack nicolson in and thought that was a great film.heres a bit about the film its about a family who are looking after a hotel for the winterJack torrente and his wife and son who can see and hear ghosts move into the hotel for the winter and strange things start happening and jack starts going crazy and he tries and kills his family but they get a way from him. The only thing is its a bit long the film.

You should try the book - I thought the Kubrick film was good, but it's nothing compared to the book, which has a twist which wasn't used in the film. I would've liked a little more info in your review too, such as how you interpretted the film and what worked and what didn't.

I am sorry for SH rating, but the review was too short, and did not give your personal opinion. If you can remedy this, I will be more than happy to give you a far more generous rating
