I didn't read the story for IT, but I can say that the movie for me was a big disappointment. Watching it had me on the edge of my seat wondering what "It" could possibly be; and then there was what could only be described as the anticlimax as you find out what "It" really is in the last part, and you hear "what?" coming from your lips in disbelief.
THE PLOT:
The plot is about seven youths who are terrorised by a demonic creature dressed in a clown suit that prey upon their fears in a town in Maines in the 60s.
Years pass, and the youngsters have grown in to adults; but they are forced to return when the town is once again plagued by a series of child murders; and they fear that IT might have come back. They go back to try to defeat IT.
