I enjoyed Children of The Corn, although I am a slasher/gore lover and expected a little bit more but overall it was a good film. The idea of children killing all the adults because a weird teenager and a man that lived out in the cornfield wasn't the best storyline I had heard of but it did make for great entertainment and also the cast were strong and not dissapointing and seeing as that most of the cast were children it wasn't at all bad.
The adults of Gatlin, Nebaska are murdered when a child cult has formed and it's madman leader Isaac (John Franklin) and his henchman Malachi (Courteney Gains) order the adults dead in this film whose author is Stephen King. Isaac and his cult are following the uhnoly orders of "He who walks behind the rows". Burton & Vicky Stanton (Peter Horton & Linda Hamilton) are passing through Gatlin and become prisoners of the children. They break free and end the terror of Isaac, Malachi & "He who walks behind the rows"
Suprise, suprise another weak sequel and prequel followed as that is the way in the world of horror! They both lacked imagination and I feel that so much more could have been done with them!
Children of the Corn 2: Final Sacrafice moves to a suburban city and the once-homicidal youths of Gatlin, Nebraska are back. In no time at all they succumb once again to the devilish influence of a young leader , who organizes them to take murderous action against suspicious adults; those who stumble too close to their secret become blood sacrifices to "He Who Walks Behind The Rows."
Children of the Corn 3: Urban Harvest. With no more rural Midwestern adults left to slaughter, two brothers from Gatling, Nebraska are sent to foster homes in the Windy City. The little brother, who murdered his own father, is a disciple of the dreaded "He Who Walks Behind the Rows" and has brought a few corn seeds with him so his evil mentor will have a place to stay. The seeds grow and soon the demon is harvesting a fresh crop of recruits to do his murderous bidding.
The Box Set also has many special features :

Children of the Corn 2 & 3 have the same features: Trailer Stills Gallery Biographies Widescreen anamorphic Languages: English Subtitles
The box set cost me £22.99 new. I wouldn't say it was at all worth the price tag. If you get the chance to see the first of the triology then do so but I would'nt recommend watching the others.
