You also get a great insight into how the album was put together, seeing overdubs and tracks actually being laid down, all against a background of humour and friendship.
Also on this 2 DVD set is some rare video footage from live sets in the early 70's and some promotional videos of 'Down The Dustpipe, Technicolour Dreams and the classic 'Tune To The Music'. There are also some great tracks of the Quo performing with a full orchestra at 'A Night of the Proms'.
A great out takes section is also included. Can Rick really teleport a guitar???
There is also an insight into Quo's appearance on Coronation Street. Whether or not you think this was a good idea for them to do, there are some very funny moments in it.
What comes across more than anything in this DVD is the tremendous love, affection and absolute respect they each have...

Advantages: not bad album Disadvantages: only 2 new songs
...The StatusQuo - Xs all areas, greatest hits albums was released in September 2005 I think, this albums all the original hit spanning throughout the years where StatusQuo, with songs like, Pictures of mastickmen, Ice in the sun, Rocking all over the worls, Again again, whatever you want. This album is a double album and this album was releasedwith 2 new singles (you're come round) and (thinking of you), my point of view to this album that theres not enough of new songs, as everytime i hear of a new Quo album to be released this is what im looking and listening out for. this album is a great album with all the great Quo songs released from 4 decades ago right up to the year 2005....

This is the one with the cover where a nuclear missile is fired out of the ocean just as a man is diving into it. Quite clever I thought. It was recorded in Dublin and released in 1980 on Vertigo, and reissued on CD with a bonus track A B Blues.
The first track and original single What You're Proposing...
