This box set contains the three Star wars movies,Star wars The empire strikes back and Return of the jedi...all of them have been reworked and have had certain extra scenes added to tie them in with the the prequel films,An extra disc is included with documentaries. For anybody who has not heard of or seen any of the Star wars films i can only assume they have been living in a galaxy far far away! However the storyline is simple, basically good versus evil, throw in a few amazing battle scenes,a few heroes, and the most notorious villian of all time. The film follows the main hero's journey (Luke Skywalker) and a chain of events which will eventually turn him into a jedi knight (a sort of cool religion where you get a lazer sword) The story is told through the eyes of two droids. The villan is of course the evil Darth Vader, who takes the beautiful princess Leia and holds her captive.Basically its a fairy tale set in the future combined with interesting characters and set in a world filled with fantastic aliens and creatures, and arguably the greatest story telling of all time, and if you are already a fan this will be the perfect gift for yourself! to cut a long saga short this box set is amazing and a must for any fan.May the force be with you.....always.

Hello mate - Welcome to Ciao, you started the same way I did, try to focus more on the films individually write about the special features and read plenty of other reviews, you soon find that the rates you will receive will be much higher, and so will the money you get. Good luck and keep trying - Spence

I agree that this is a super trilogy, but what the review failed in was simple. Let's try and explain. Its a boxed set of four discs which includes Special Edition versions as well as extras that seem to give documentary information. Imagine you are writing for someone who knows nothing about Star Wars. Yes, such people exist. Read a few reviews on the site, come back with a fresh head and open your review. There is a blue button at the top that says edit. Now tell it like it is, and you may increase your chances of better ratings. Almost all new members write like this. I did, and mine was crappier. When you have done it, send a message to the members who rated it and ask if they would take another look. I for one will and rerate as I find it to be. Rachel X
Advantages: Three fims in one box, less storage, easier to have a lazy day watching all films Disadvantages: Can't fit into the standard DVD rack, pain if you already have first film but not the rest
Advantages: Well presented, bonus disc is full of lots of information for star wars fans Disadvantages: Its only the first 3 films, all though that could be an advantage!
