I'll try to explain in my best english (a little shit) my feelings about this movie.
Introducing
I'm a fan of Star Wars since I've watched this movie when I was about 4 years old (I'm 28). I remembered when I was to the cinema with my mum.
In fact I only remembered some scenes, but there is something very impact, a strange breath, a powerfol voice that I've remembered for all my life...Darth vader, the dark lord of the Sith.
A new Hope, was the fist movie of 3 that The director ann produccer George Lucas started to make since 1979. It was a revolution in the way to make SCI-Fi films.
In fact many Studios closed theirs doors until 20Th Fox Study the project.
Then, appears the episode IV. and the other? We always have this question, where are the episodes I, II and III?
The empiere
strikes back, and the retourn of the jedi complete this original saga.
I have to notice, that in Spain, Star was is more popular like in the rest of the world.
Characters and cast
Luke Skywalker (mark hamill) is a farmer who lives in Tatooine, a external planet in th galaxy far to the rest. He wants to live adventures like his friends and one day, together his uncle Owen, buy 2 robots.
C3PO (Anthony Daniels) is a protocol robot that serve its owner to translate different lenguages of the galaxy.
R2D2 is the other little robot that talks with peefs and is more inteligent than C3PO
Obi-wan kenobi (Sir Alec Guiness) is a Jedi Knight, old republician general taht lives alone in the mountains of tatooine next to Luke. A jedi Knight is a person who knows the force and is very special.
Han Solo (Harrison Ford) is a traffic transporter who works to jabba the Hut, the chieff of a mafia that rules Tatooine. he also became to be an important leader of the revel aliance against the evil galactic empire.
Princess Leia Organa (Carry Fisher) is a galactic senator who carry a stolen plans of the horrible and terrorific weapon of destruction thats the empire has built.
Darth Vader (David Prowse) is a dark imperial agent wit te mission to keep the stolen plans. almost he knows the force, but the dark side, the evil, the anger.
Grand Moff Tarkin (Peter Cushing) is the imperial gobernor that commands the Dath Star, the last imperials weapon.
Story
After the deaths of luke's family, he goes with Obi-Wan (who teachs him the way of the force) searching the princess Leia (the 2 robot's owner) because R2 has the important planes.
They need the help of Han Solo (and Chewbaaka), pilot of a ship to leave tatooine.
But the imperial tropps are searching the two robots too.
At last they are captured by the death Start and its tractor Ray.
There, appears Darth vader who is in fact the young apprentice that had Obi-Wan than one Day was seduceded for the dark side of the force.
It will be a final duel between Obi-wan and Vader with Light Saber very impact.
Our heros can leave these imperial Station and go to yavin, the planet of the Revel alliance (the enemist of the empire).
Finally a space battle between Ships (X-wings, B-Wings an Tie Fighters) with amazing visual effects will us enjoy like children.
Others
The strong voice of Darth Vader is featuring by James Earl Jones. In Spain, we put a spanish voices in general in every english movies. A famous actor gives his voice In spanish but I heard the original voice and it's impressive.
They are a great merchandaising about Star Wars like everyone know.
Mention too to the great Score played by John Williams, it's marvelous sincerely. The main tittle is one of the temes more famous in the Cinema History.
I have the DVD pack about €20= 20 pounds and there are 2 DVD, the movie with comments, two lenguages ans subtittles with a high quality od image and sound (the posibility to obtain 5:1 THX system). The other DVD contains interesting extras.
Concludying, I recommend this movie becouse is fantastic.
