I've used the same intro to this as the other reviews from this set of DVDs as it is the same. The set comes in the stylish silver and purple box that the previous 3 sets came in and looks very swish on the shelf next to the others. The box is in fact a sleeve when you take it out and inside the sleeve are the DVDs. These are nicely packaged inside a case holding all 7 disks which fold out to show you all of them at the same time. Underneath the DVDs in the box is a booklet with info on all of the episodes and a quick synopsis.

The episodes from this season are:
The Best Of Both Worlds (Part 2) - The climax to the last episode of the last series! The best episode so far made by the Trek team. Picard is rescued from the Borg and used to help destroy the cube.
Family - This is my favourite episode from this series in terms of story. Picard goes back to earth after his meeting with the Borg to have some time off with his family. Picard and his brother Robert have never really got on and there are tensions. They mock his job and still live as though they are in the past. We learn things about Picard and his family and about who we are.
Brothers - this episode we meet Lore, data's brother, again and both of them meet their father. Brent Spiner plays all three parts in this episode. We also learn of the emotion chip that will later become part of Data.
Remember Me - in this episode we meet the traveller who teams up with Wesley Crusher to save his mother beverly from certain death. The show focuses on Wesley mainly and we get to know his character a bit more.
Legacy - we get an isight into Tashya ya's background in this episode. We see where she grew up and how it contrasts with what her life was later to become.
Reunion - here we are introduced to Worf's son Alexnder and we start to delve into the Klingon world and Worf's life more. Future Imperfect - Riker, it seems, is the captain of the ship in this Riker centered episode.
Final Mission - This is where we see Wesley Crusher for the last time for a while. (Good!) He goes on one last mission with Picard but all does not go to plan and they end up stranded on a planet with Picard geting injured.
The Loss - Deana loses her empathic powers and resigns are counsellor.
Data's Day - here we follow data around the ship and see into the life of this wonderful android.
The Wounded - another cardassian episode. I've never liked this race and can't say this episode helped. We get a better look at O'Brien in this episode.
Devil's Due - Picard puts 'the devil' on trial!
Clues - The crew seem to lose a day but the computer disagrees and so does Data.
First Contact - Riker finds himself in touble disguised as another race when his ID is discovered.
Galaxy's Child - Data meets someone in person that he has previously felt a lot for. Unfortunately she is not impressed.
Night Terrors - The crew are trapped and losing enthusiasm and it looks like Troi's nightmares might hold the only way out for them.
Identity Crisis - Geordi starts to get worried when someone he was on an away mission with years ago starts to turn into another species. Will the same happen to him?
Nth Degree - Barclay's character is seen here when he develops super human abilities.
Qpid - Q plays more silly games with the crew and puts them all into a Robin Hood story.
The Drumhead - Picard finds himself accused of a crime he did not commit.
Half A Life - Lwaxana troi appears in this episode and again tried to get Picard on her side. This time it is because she cares for another man that she needs helping.
The Host - Beverly is in love with a parasite living inside a human's body she has to come to terms with loving him when inside another body.
The Mind's Eye - Romulans are reaking havoc again.
In Theory - Data can 'in theory' have a relationship with a human being so he tries. :oS
Redemption (Part 1) - Here we see the Klingons…to be continued.
As in the previous series we are left hanging with an episode that concludes 'next time'. If you have the next box set you are fine, and if you have already seen it it's ok, but if not, I'd wait until you get series 5 before watching redemption.
The extra features on these disks include a deeper look at how we have seen characters progress and grow in the series. There are more behind the scenes looks with explanations from crew members on how they did things. There are also interviews with some more crew members.
The sound track to some of the episodes is also very good. Jerry Goldsith is a wonderful composer and has done the show justice yet again.
It's now retailing online from £34.99 on Play.com upwards and is well worth it. When I got them 3 years ago I paid just under £80 each and I thought they were worth it obviously. They are a must now for any Star Trek fan.
