Star Trek Enterprise - Season 3
Review of Star Trek - Enterprise - Season 3 - Complete DVD by  Anvah

Advantages: Better plot and more action that previous episodes
Disadvantages: None

...This is the third season of enteprise, with the ongoing adventures of Captain Archer and his starfleet team, finally in this season after a slow start in season 1 and 2 things start to speed up a bit, and the action gets better, good character progression this season and the story lines become more focussed on a single story continued on in each episode, this certainly helps in the plot developement of this season. A definate improvement on the first and second season, in this season the crew travel deep into the Expanse in search of the Xindi and the new weapon that the Xindi are making. Some of the best episodes of the series, "Similitude" in particular was a great episode with a medical dilema for the good Dr Flox! The last disk contains sone good extras - including Deleted Scenes, Photo Gallery and interview with one... Read review

The best season of Enterprise
Review of Star Trek - Enterprise - Season 4 - Complete DVD by  technoboots

Advantages: The best season of Enterprise
Disadvantages: A bit expensive

...to get. For those who do not know much about Enterprise, the premise of the show is as a prequel to the other series of Star Trek. It shows the voyages of earths first Warp 5 starship which has been build to explore the Galaxy. This season is set in the year s 2154-2155 just after Earth has been saved from the Xindi, a race determined to destroy Earth (Season 3). This season shows the lead to the formation of the United Federation of Planets, an organisation of peace which includes many species.... Read review

Season 3 of TNG - Where it really kicked off
Review of Star Trek - The Next Generation - Series 3 - Complete DVD by  Happenstance

Advantages: Really stepping up from season 2 will great episodes
Disadvantages: Not too many special features included

...I think that season 3 of Star Trek The Next Generation is where the show really came into its own and started to cast off the shadow left by the original series. Season 3 has some terrific science fiction stories told with classic episodes like "Yesterday's Enterprise", "The Defector", "Best Of Both Worlds Part I" and "Sarek" which sees Mark Lenard return as Spocks father. There are 26 episodes this season which last roughly 44 minutes each and for the current prices that these new Star Trek slimline boxsets are being sold for you cant really go wrong. There seems to be a noticable difference in quality from season 2 to 3 with minor details being refined in set design and costumes. The music for the show, although not particularly memorable always seems to fit very well for the situations used. This season also adds Guinan (Whoopi... Read review
