Advantages Advantages They let us take the 3D glasses off for a while

Disadvantages Disadvantages There wasn't really a story

It was my eldest sons 13th birthday so I thought a trip to the cinema would be nice for him and few mates. But I had to take along my 7 year old son and my 9 year old niece so we couldn't all agree on just one film to watch.... My eldest wanted to see Terminator 3 and my niece wanted to see Spy Kids.. so we split into two groups and trundled off to seperate screens. So there was my youngest boy, my niece, Stevens best mate who had already seen Terminator and myself sitting there in the dark with our 3D glasses on! What an idiot I felt! Not having seen the first two films I can't really tell ... more

Spy Kids 3D: Game Over is the third film in what has been a lucrative franchise. In the final part of the series, our hero Juni Cortez is required to travel into a video-game. He must rescue his sister, who has been trapped in the game and then defeat the Toymaker - the game's evil creator. He is also trapped in the game but planning to lure thousands of innocent children into it so that he may escape. Oh, and as an extra bonus, part of the film is in 3D!! Let's be honest - the technology behind 3D cinema was never particularly impressive, but it's still patently obvious that it has had its ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages The Acting. It's Not 3-D.

Spy Kids 3-D Plot. At the start of the movie, Juni Cortez (Daryl Sabara) the trilogy's junior James Bond comes out of retirement (Although we have no explanation why he retired in the first place), to rescue the mind of his sister Carmen Cortez (Alexa Vega), who has become trapped inside a virtual reality video game. Sylvester Stallone, stars as the main villain, "The Toymaker", who designed the video game to capture the minds of every child on the planet, (Once again we have no idea why.) Once Juni get's inside the game, it's a world of computer scenery, special effects and made up creatures ... more

Advantages Advantages 3D Effects (At Times)

Disadvantages Disadvantages Weak Story, Only Good On Large Screen

I was a huge fan of the first two Spy Kids movies. The second one did see a slight deep but then there's only so much you can do in a sequel. The 3rd and final film (I Hope) starts where number two left off. Juni Cortez has quit being a secret agent and has decide to set up his own dective agency. Soon there is news of Juni's sister, Carmen. She is trapped in a brand new computer game called "Game Over", which is due to launch in less then 24 hours. The game created by the toy maker (Sylverster Stallone) has the power to turn children mindless and become in his control from their very own ... more
