Advantages: Good nostalgic wrestling
Disadvantages: Edited matches

...set consisting of the first WWE (then WWF) Survivor series from 1987 and the 2nd annual event from 1988. Both events only have 5 vs 5 tag elimation matches, there are no single or title matches (although later Survivor Series shows featured a mix of all 3). The matches are what you expect from 80s WWF - lots of slow power moves from steroid enhanced talent & nobody kicks out of someone elses finisher (except Hulk Hogan). ...that they're not uncut. Survivor Series 1988 in particular has been edited extensively down to 2 hours. WWE should be releasing a Survivor Series anthology in the future which should contain unedited matches and so if you're a collector you're better off opting for that release instead of this one. ...

Advantages: A couple of good matches and performances.
Disadvantages: Bias voting tactics, stupid matches, lots of time wasting.
