Advantages: Undertaker debut
Disadvantages: not the best wrestling

Firstly i think that these tagged classic dvds are excellent. They provide great value for money as you get two pay per views and they are a good way of keeping classic matches. The only downside for me is that they dont provide any extras which i would like to see. Well first up is Survivor Series 1989 which in my opinion was pretty poor, nothing really surprised me. Some classic late 80s WWF wrestling

Advantages: Good nostalgic wrestling
Disadvantages: Edited matches

...set consisting of the first WWE (then WWF) Survivor series from 1987 and the 2nd annual event from 1988. Both events only have 5 vs 5 tag elimation matches, there are no single or title matches (although later Survivor Series shows featured a mix of all 3). The matches are what you expect from 80s WWF - lots of slow power moves from steroid enhanced talent & nobody kicks out of someone elses finisher (except Hulk Hogan). WWE should be releasing a Survivor Series anthology in the future which should contain unedited matches and so if you're a collector you're better off opting for that release instead of this one. ...

...a great idea by WWE and a fantastic way to see Legends of the past. SummerSlam 88, see the British Bulldogs vs the Fabulous Rougeaus. The Intercontinental Title match between Honky Tonk Man and Ultimate Warrior is a squash match classic. The Main event is truely that. The Mega powers ( Randy Savage+Hulk Hogan) vs Andre the Giant and The Million Dollar Man. With Elizabeth Shocking the crowd at that time. Summerslam 89 is a good event too. Mr Perfect ...

First Two DVD'S Of The Legacy Of Wrestlemania

Advantages: You get the first two Wrestlemanias in one buy and they are no longer available on video anymore.
Disadvantages: It is an old style of wrestling, you must know what your getting or you might be left disapointed.
