Mark and Lard's Nightmare of a DVD

Advantages: Funny clips (if you've never seen any football film/programme like it)
Disadvantages: Mark and Lard are idiots, all clips been seen before

...also many pointless clips of Mark and Lard (whoever they are) acting like total idiots. Some sketches are quite funny but most of them are pointless and are in there to try and extend the length of this DVD. In all, there is probably only about 30 minutes of football action. This DVD has been rated a PG because it contains moderate violence and sex references - it should maybe even be higher (e.g. 12A) because anything with sex references should ...
...particular football DVD. Mark and Lard I think Mark and Lard just decided to jump on the footballing cock-up bandwagon and make their own DVD to try and make money. To be fair, they probably did - but they are still total imbeciles. They act like football hooligans and nutcases throughout which doesn't send out a particularly great message to the younger generation. They are seen drinking beer and even playing with guns (they even shoot ...

Sublime footballing artistry from a French master

Advantages: A fascinating study of 90 minutes with a footballing legend
Disadvantages: Probably not that interesting for non footy fans

...Christmas present from Ms Larsbaby. Zidane is a living footballing legend, blessed with sublime skill and grace, his movements easy on the eye for any viewer. This film was basically following the great man around during the course of one of his games. IN THE UNLIKELY EVENT YOU DON'T KNOW WHO HE IS Zinedine Zidane is possibly one of the greatest footballers ever. Born in 1972, Zidane's parents are immigrants from Algeria, and the young Zidane ...
...2000. At 66 million Euros, Zidane became the world's most expensive footballer, joining the Galacticos at Real Madrid in 2001. He retired after the 2006 World Cup in controversial circumstances, receiving a red card in the World Cup Final after headbutting an Italian defender (Zidane later claimed the defender had made some offensive remarks about his family). The picture of the dismissed Zidane trudging past the World Cup on his way back to the ...

IAN WRIGHT WRIGHT ... DEFINATLY RIGHT!!

Advantages: GREAT STOCKING FILLER - FUNNY - IDEAL FOR FOOTBALL FANS
Disadvantages: COULD ADD ANOTHER 20 CLIPS

...to find it was an Ian Wright DVD. At first I thought it was going to be tons of mishaps by fellow Arsenal team mates or from the times when he was playing but I must admit it had clips that I can't even remember happening which made me giggle. Ian Wright: It Shouldn't Happen To A Footballer is a DVD which consists of funny comical clips of footballers basically making a fool of themselves whether it is clear through on goal and whistling it wide ...
...including replays and commentary from Ian Wright and commentary legend JOHN MOTSON!! Which gives you 74 minutes of uninterupted comical masterclass. Ian Wright's presenting skills just gets better and better on this DVD as he is purely himself explaining whats going to happen in the next clip kinda like You Been Framed style. If any of you have watched Wright Across America on Bravo you will know how well he is infront or behind the camera. As ...

BEYOND THE PROMISED LAND DVD

Advantages: Some decent parts and good extras
Disadvantages: Some not so decent parts

...him a copy of the Manchester United official movie on DVD, it's been out quite a while now but we enjoyed watching it. Me and my dad being serious United fans, we sat down and watched it. We bought the copy of 'The Treble' on DVD too and were very impressed by that, but this is what we thought of 'Beyond The Promised Land'... The DVD is basically the behind-the-scenes story of Manchester Uniteds ups and downs of the previous 99/00 season. (That ...
...interviews and peoples points towards Manchester United. This is basically the whole movie, it's all totally 100% official and brilliant to watch. I've mentioned some of the main parts to the movie, here are ALL the chapters on the DVD. 1. Memories of Munich 2. Fanatical about the club! 3. View from the other side 4. The business 5. Cup campaigns 6. Welcome to Rio 7. It's all in the media 8. On with the show 9. Celebrity Status 10. New ...

Eat My Goal - Nesbitt

Advantages: Funny
Disadvantages: Most blunders seen before on other DVDs

Eat My Goal. Typical football cock-up DVD with own-goals, goal-keeper mistakes, bad misses (and a few good things as well). Nevertheless, there is one problem with this DVD - James Nesbitt. The Irish voice is really annoying (it's not his fault I know) and his football skills he tries to show off aren't any better. The only problem with a DVD like this is that there are so many of them around - Own Goals and Gaffs, Ian Wright's It Really Shouldn't ...
...guarantee that no clip on Eat my Goal cannot be found on any of the other DVDs... there aren't that many blunders after all! Here is a showdown of the main sections of the DVD: 1. Eat My Goal - Own Goals 2. The Humiliator 3. Humiliating Defeats 4. The Humiliator 2 5. Humiliating Defeats 2 6. Goalkeepers 7. The Humiliator 3 8. Goalkeepers 2 9. Referees 10. The Humiliator 4 11. Bad Misses 12. Penalty Misses 13. Top Ten If this DVD was ...
