Apart from the fact that they decided to skip the rematch between Duran and Leonard, this DVD is perfect. The only problem is that they lied about the fact that it wasn't a bizarre surrender. he just couldn't accept the fact that Leonard turned the tide around. The narrator makes out he quit for no reason (as if he was winning!) and no coverage of that fight is shown. However, this DVD is action packed with the best of the 1980's! Every single epic ...

Plenty of ham but with no taste!

Advantages: Shows the darkside behind all the glamour of sport.
Disadvantages: A little bit too cynical, boxing is no worse than any other sport.

This documentary is interesting although not entirely objective. A thorough investigation of the link between boxing, and the shady characters that have undermined it in the past as well as some modern day scandals. It introduces all the promoters who have taken advantage of the games financial benefits, as well as the legitimate promoters and fighters who have been outmuscled by the 'sharks'. Calzaghe's finest night: Calzaghe v Lacy DVD

Advantages: Superb re-run of the explosive fight.
Disadvantages: none

Joe Calzaghe - Super Champion

Advantages: Includes interviews and build up exactly how it was live on the night
Disadvantages: the Robin Reid fight is not present in the highlights of Joe's Fights
