Va-Va-Vooom - A DVD to remember the man by
Review of Thierry Henry - Legend DVD by Xanshin

Advantages: Great interviews, all of his goals and best moments
Disadvantages: Very hard to find any

...still making money off of Thierry Henry nearly a year after he left, but after watching the first 5 minutes any apprehensions were gone. This is a must-have DVD for Arsenal fans. A DVD that brings closure to Henry's Arsenal career and a fantastic tribute to the man who brought with him so much success. The word "Legend" is one that is used too sparingly for my tastes, especially in sport, but in the case of Thierry Henry there is no other word that ... Read review

It Really Shouldn't Happen To A Footballer
Review of Ian Wright - It Really Shouldn't Happen To A Footballer DVD by triplex999

Advantages: Funny, well introduced, features pundits
Disadvantages: Too short for what it's worth

... What's in it Ian Wright counts down 30 funny football gaffes, each with its own introduction. This adds a substantial amount of time to the DVD, but even so it is only 70 minutes long, a similar time to the Paddy McGuinness DVD mentioned below. Quality of Clips I found about 95% of the clips funny, and most of them I hadn't seen before. Almost all contained original commentary as well as analysis from different pundits. Extras ...
...must be a complement for Ian Wright. This DVD is a follow up to It Shouldn't Happen To A Footballer, so people who enjoyed that are likely to buy this DVD. My Overall Opinion I will repeat what I said at the beginning: that this is a good DVD as a present, but I wouldn't pay for it myself. ... Read review

Brian O Driscoll's Lions Tour Diary DVD
Review of Brian O'Driscoll's Lions Diary DVD by mabi

Advantages: hilarious outtakes
Disadvantages: none

This is an excellent dvd seeing the tour from one players perspective. Hilarious out takes and a conversation between Frank O'Driscoll and Leinster legend Ken Ging. It also details his views on the tour including that incident. It is worth a buy and have a laugh at the lions captain/irish and leinster captain doing outtakes alone at his old school at Blackrock College. This is one of the series for the lions tour dvd. There are some clips of the ... Read review

'The untouchables'
Review of Arsenal - 49 - The Unbeaten Run DVD by wardy-91

Advantages: Superb goals, well set out DVD.
Disadvantages: Bit too much talking sometimes.

...the class and finesse that Arsenal have when they score goals. The DVD is well set out, and gives you an detailed story of the outstanding unbeaten run that arsenal obtained a few seasons ago. It shows highlights of most of the matches, and ALL the goals. I think this DVD also proves what a great striker Theirry Henry was to Arsenal back in the 2005/6 season. If you are an Arsenal fan or just simply a fan of great football, then you should DEFINATELY ... Read review

A hard knock's life
Review of WWE - Mick Foley's Greatest Hits And Misses DVD by Yobbey

Advantages: That "Hell in the Cell" fight, other genuine classic fights also, plenty of DVD extras
Disadvantages: Maybe too brutal for some hence the 18 rating, no Death Match fights from Japan

I'm not quite the Wrestling fan I used to be, but if there's one Wrestler that I'll always have time for it's Mick Foley, aka Cactus Jack, aka Mankind, aka Dude Love. Whatever name he fought under, he always pushed the limits of his pain threshold in order to give the fans their money's worth in entertainment and put on the most amazing fights in wrestling history. This DVD contains some of Mick Foley's personal favourite and more memorable fights ...
...total. Not all are classic encounters, but they are fights that help define Micks history of wrestling during his time in ECW, SMW, WCW and the WWF - his more extreme fights from Japan are not on this DVD however. The fights are personally introduced by Mick who provides a little insight and history into each of the matches. People would argue as to what is the best fight on this DVD - for me it would have to be either the jaw-droppingly painful ... Read review
