I never watched that much of the SpongebobSquarepants series on TV but I was given this dvd as a present and I was pleasantly surprised! It is a really funny movie, and who couldn't fall in love with the cute trouser-wearing sponge?
The storyline of the film is that someone has stolen King Neptune's crown and it is up to Spongebob to retrieve it in order to clear the name of his boss, Mr Krabs. Neptunes crown turns out to be in Shell City, one of the most dangerous places in the sea! None of the sea creatures want to go there since it is so scary! Yet Spongebob saves the day and manages to get the crown back and saves Mr Krabs.
I think Patrick, Spongebobs best friend, is my favourite character. He is so cute and funny.
