Greetings. I am an aspiring writer from up north, I thought I'd write a couple of reviews on things I have been watching/reading/doing in general. I hope it will be helpful and intersting for you, and if not, hey, it's all practice.

Caught in a web of heartfelt nonsense with this one I'm afraid. I mean, Is it me, or are our comic book heroes given too much depth when on the silver screen? I don't care that batman feels personally responsible for the death of his parents, nor am I even slightly bothered that the Hulk was the last child to be picked any sort of sporting endeavour as a child; so I am I going to give a web flicking toodle in the wind that Peter Parker is battling the overwhelming urges to be modest when he has been given some of the greatest superpowers bestowed upon anyone ever? No, but then again I am not an impressionable child that needs to be taught the ways of the warrior and the good it encompasses. You know, be humble, honest and kind. Do not be arrogant when you have super strength and you should only use your powers for good, not photo opportunities with good looking ladies. Power corrupts is the message here I think. And Power does corrupt in this third film, (now available for £7.00 at Asda for the 2 disc special edition, fairly good value if you ask me.) once again with stunning visual effects and CGI.
Our young super nerd-cum-hero Peter Parker is battling two new enemies in the form of Venom, and also the Sandman played by the excellently beefed up Thomas Haden Church who initially finds himself a con on the run, accidentally turned into a mass of sand after being chased into a vat that turns things into sand of all things. Throughout the film roles are reversed, we see more of an insight into Sandman, Venom and Spidey and good and bad traits of all the characters. Parker is finding himself in romantic trouble with MJ, boringly played by Dunst and this combined with the evil black alien suit, New Goblin and various other storylines in the film leaves it too weighty and quick resolves seem to conveniently tie it all up in the end. As mentioned, the DVD is now available fairly cheaply at a whole number of stores; the bonus disc is bustling with extra features including photographs, music videos, and the CGI construction of the film. Great for boring hungover Sundays when you have exhausted all other DVD's in the house. I just hope the next instalment of Spiderman has him one on one with a real bad ass, and no soppy emotional lessons - after all, he is a super hero.

Sorry for the H, but if this is to be a full DVD review, I would prefer to see a review of the extras in similar detail to the way you've reviewed the film, rather than just a list of them.
