You do not need a computer, but it will play in it if you did, all you need is a tv and dvd player and most households have one these days. With over 1000 questions, and up to about 8 different categories to choose from (sci-fi, horror, classics etc) it is very engaging, the disc loads relatively quickly and the options are easy to understand. There are two levels of difficult, but if you pick the harder level you get more points - so you can make up ground if you need to. The game allows for one or two player games, and the premise is that you are captain of a spaceship that has fallen through a wormhole and is lightyears from Earth.
