Miami Ink!

Advantages: Interesting to watch, loads of cool tattoos to look at
Disadvantages: Often I find myself wanting a tattoo done by Chris Garver but unfortunately I don't live in Americ

Miami Ink, if you haven't heard about it already, is a TV show about a tattoo parlour in Miami (if you hadn't already guessed!). The series began in July 2005, introducing four eager tattooists, Ami James, Chris Nunez, Chris Garver and Darren Brass, as well as Ami's apprentice, Yoji Harada. Throughout the episodes new tattooists enter and go, the most famous probably being Kat Von D who turned the studio around with her beautiful portrait tattoos. ...
...shows I like! Since Miami Ink there have been a couple of spin offs, for example LA Ink and London Ink. I don't think either of them are as good as the original Miami version, but it is definitely interesting to see how the London one works - though it's nowhere near as polished or well-edited as Miami Ink is. Advantages: Ability to really play as a family
Disadvantages: Can't kick start the game without listening to the pre-amble

Win yourself a million from the comfort of your armchair.

Advantages: Recreates the thrills and tension of the show. Somewhat addictive.
Disadvantages: Questions are repeated perhaps too often.

It's oh so sexy!

Advantages: A tattoo fetischist's dream.
Disadvantages: Probably doesn't do much for people who dislike tattoos.

Who wants to be a Millionaire (Edition 4)

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Time consuming

This interactive DVD was given to the family as a Christmas present, and although we have tried to play it on 3 different DVD players, the game freezes withing the first three questions, the best we have been able to get to is £1000 before it freezes again. We did not have a receipt as it was given to us as a present, but even after persistent emails to the distributor asking them to replace this item, nothing has been heard from them. We have even ...
