Advantages: You do tone up Disadvantages: You need a good space to perform the routines properly
...for Summer was the brilliant Latina Size dvd. As a fan of Strictly Come Dancing I thought this would be a fun way to shape up (and I liked the idea of learning some moves!). The dvd is broke down into 5 sections: Simply Salsa, Rumba Tone, Jump 'n' Jive, Cha Cha Burn and Sambasize. Each one targets a different part of your body so you can alternate depending on what you want to work out. I got into the routine of focusing on the Jump 'n' Jive sections ... ...thighs! There is also a warm up and cool down section. Lilia's goes through all the moves first showing you the 'easy' versions (demonstrated by two of her dancers and then the slightly harder versions (demonstrated by Lilia and her other dancers) so you can chose what you feel comfortable with. It 's a good fun dvd to work out to with great background music. You do work up a sweat but in typical dance style you end up smiling through the pain barrier. ...
Advantages: Great to do in a small space and fun for the whole family Disadvantages: Non
I'm a non stop yoyo dieter. I have numerous exercise dvd's. But in my opinion this is the most enjoyable exercise dvd i've worked out to. Mr Motivator's compulsive enthusiasm radiates out to you. What i love is with this dvd and his exercises you don't need to have a lounge the size of a ballroom to do them in. I'm quite a large lady but i managed nearly all of the exercises eventually with a little practice. Great fun and highly recommended. My ...

...to begin. I chose the Rosemary Conley DVD because the thought of 'getting back into those jeans' as advertised on the front of the case, was really my aim. Also, the information on the case seemed to imply that the DVD would be at my level and fun to use. I think it cost about £15, which initially is an expense, but far cheaper than the gym!!
So far , I have only used the DVD a couple of times, so I can't really say how well the exercises are working. ... ...routines on the DVD. Although Rosemary Conley might appear to be a fitness instructor who would appeal to an older generation, the routines are fun to do and they are accompanied by some modern and more classic songs, which I enjoy listening to.
The DVD is divided into three exercise sections:
** 30 minutes of aerobics
** 20 minutes of Salsacise
**15 minutes of supertoning
It is easy to pick and choose which section or sections to complete as ...
Advantages: Shows you the correct form for weight training, only 45 mins long Disadvantages: Music, Kirsch himself, better for someone new to exercise.
I am a big David Kirsch fan and own three of his DVDs. Initially I bought the Ultimate New York Body Plan and his Ultimate Bootcamp and both of these were extremely advanced weight training/cardio workouts that had me aching the next day.
I decided to buy Kirsch's Upper Body DVD as I assumed that this would be as advanced. I was wrong. This workout is much more for someone new to exercise and, one of its advantages is how much detail Kitsch goes ... ...repeated very much and, unless you were quite unfit, you fail to get a very intense workout at all.
The DVD is divided into three 15 min sections-Upper body (arms, back, shoulders etc), Abs and chest and then a more advanced 15 min section with all upper body and abs. I have a few main complaints regarding this DVD. The first is just how annoying Kirsch is. Although Kirschs mantras and American positivity can be annoying in all of his workouts it ...
