...knew of is the lovely Lucy Benjamin. She's famous for her role as Lisa Mitchell in EastEnders, and was the winner of Celebrity X Factor a few years back. It was great to see her in the Jungle - she'd been away from our screens for too long. I wasn't aware that Lisa had released a fitness DVD, so when I made this discovery I was thrilled. I purchased it straight away, costing me just £2.95 from eBay. It is an extremely cheap DVD, and will cost you ... ...promising, a lovely picture of Lucy on the front, dressed in pink with her flat stomach on show, a Cheshire cat grin from ear to ear. Titled 'Dancercise', I had a feeling this was not going to be like my usual beloved cardio aerobic DVDs, and was keen to find out just what I was up against. The DVD itself brings you up three options, the second being 'workout selector' which allows you to choose the part of the work out you want to do. Though seeing ...
Advantages: useful tips Disadvantages: presenters so annoying!
...wondering who Kim Woodburn is, how is she a celebrity? Well she became 'famous' from her appearance alongside Aggie MacKenzie in the TV show 'How Clean Is Your House'.
The concept of the show is really very simple- Kim and Aggie help people to clean up their houses. It sounds quite dull actually, why would you actually want to watch this? Well the truth is you just can't help yourself! Is one of those compulsive viewings like Come Dine With Me and ... ...and they quiz them about how the house has become to the state it has and what is happening in their lives which means that they can't even ever run a duster around the house. They then set to work! They take swabs to check for bacteria and then give cleaning tips. The cleaning tips can be really simple although sometimes when I watch this I start to think well I've never put white vinegar inside my washing machine, am I just as bad as this person?! ...

...fat through the whole routine. Davina has two trainers, husband and wife team Jackie and Mark Wren, and this section is lead by Jackie with Mark and Davina following. I really like workouts that involve weights so this gets the thumbs up from me, although when compared to the Super Sculpt workout on her later Superbody DVD it’s not as challenging. Jackie’s instruction is nice and clear here and she explains how things should feel as well as what ... ...The Core Stability section Davina describes as “working your insides” and is a Pilates style workout with lots of floor work which really works your abdominals. I really like Pilates and find that although it’s not a typical ‘drench yourself in sweat’ workout, the results you get from it are really good and give you a much leaner, more toned figure. This is lead again by Jackie. Instruction For those who find Davina a bit annoying then this is ...

...the recent television documentary featuring Joanna Lumley, who fulfilled a lifelong ambition to visit the Land of the Northern Lights, then you may enjoy the DVD which has been made of her journey. Available from Amazon for £10.88 this is, in my opinion, a treasure. Recently I posted one off to one of my daughters who not only loves Joanna Lumley but also shares my fascination with this part of the world. The front cover of this DVD sets the scene. ... ...Growing up in tropical Malaysia Joanna had always had a dream of visiting the "Arctic North". She had a little childhood book which inspired her, "Ponny The Penguin", a tale about the Southern Lights or the Aurora Australis, written by Veronica Bassett. We are treated to a view of the aged pages, where curtains of jade cascade down from the sky illuminating the toes of the penguins that stand in awe in electric green. The Aurora Australis is the ...
...I have only been watching Loose Women for under three years. It feels like it has been a part of my life forever, it is truly amazing. The ITV lunchtime chat show consists of a panel of rotating celebrities, with one of two anchors. Each show finds them in heated topical debates, as well as two interviews with celebrity guests. There is something truly amazing about it, that I cannot stress just how wonderful and, indeed, successful the show is. ... ...thanks! Together the panel of loose ladies make up the phenomenon that is Loose Women. The show started in 1999 and since then it has gone from strength to strength to get to where it is today. I don't think the show was that popular though until about a year and a half ago, when it suddenly became the talk on everybody's lips (I blame the credit crunch and the increase of redundancy). With this huge climb in success, I found lot of Loose Women merchandise ...
