Manufacturer's product description

Clint Eastwood stars as the 'Man with No Name' in this trilogy of seminal Italian westerns directed by the legendary Sergio Leone (ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST). A FISTFUL OF DOLLARS is often cited as the landmark film in a subgenre that would become dubbed the spaghetti western and the combination of Eastwood's star power, Leone's fantastic direction and an infectious music score by Ennio Morricone endeared it to audiences across the world. The success of the first film led to a sequel the following year: FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE was even more epic in scale and this time FISTFUL's antihero Eastwood and villain (Gian Maria Volonte – INVESTIGATION OF A CITIZEN ABOVE SUSPICION) are joined by the steely-eyed Lee Van Cleef (ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK) and Klaus Kinski (FITZCARRALDO). The trilogy concludes with the most ambitious of the series, THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY. Eastwood and Van Cleef return once more though this time the pair are upstaged by the brilliant Eli Wallach (THE GODFATHER PART III).
