As far as space films go, I am not a big fan so it was with some trepidation that I took this one in. After a few minutes, it is clear that this is going to stand head and shoulders above the rest which is due, in large part, to the immense performance of Academy Award Winner Tom Hanks, but also to a tremendous true story of bravery, skill and hope.

All of the harry potter films are fantastic action adventure films. I think that they are brilliant films to watch with your family as all the films have a great story. In my opinion the harry potter series is one of the greatest of them all. Reading the Harry potter books help with the story line but it is not needed as it is very easy to follow compared to films like the Matrix ect. The Harry potter films are a must see in my opinion. I think that if you dont watch them you are really missing out on something great. Im really looking forward to the final film if it's anything like the others it is going to be fantastic. Man On Fire is one of the best films I have seen in the past 18 months and has successfully made its way onto my "Top 10 Films of all time". Although it probably didn't gross as much as it deserved through the cinema (in my opinion down to poor marketing) it is a must see DVD experience.
I was apprehensive that Denzel Washington would be playing the stereo-typical down trodden black man but his performance is more than that. He keeps you guessing throughout the film what has caused him to act in the manner he does; although never clearly explained it allows you to make your own assumptions.
I really enjoyed the way the film was shot (no pun intended) as it gave you a real feel for what certain areas of Mexico City must be like, the music throughout the film is also fantastic; fans of the Gladiator soundtrack will not be ...
