Jackie Chan has slowly climbed the ladder to become my favourite martial artist. He surpasses Tony Jaa, Jet Li and even Bruce Lee. This movie contains everything from slapstick to the most innovative techniques used in martial arts movies.
Ways you can watch the movie: Cantonese with English subtitles or without, Chinese with English subtitles or without and my personal favourite English dubbed without subtitles or with. Note that you can also vary any of these three ie English with Cantonese subtitles etc.
The story revolves around an evil clan who have destroyed every martial technique except the snake fist. Jackie Chan is bullied by many of the students in the martial arts school where he works. Jackie Chan meets Grandmaster Pai Cheng-Tien who is the surviving sensei of the snake fist technique. Jackie soon learns the snake fist and uses it to defend himself and fight the evil clan members...
Excellent fighting techniques, brilliant humour....actors of such competence ie Jackie Chan and Mr Cheung-Tien......when these three things mix together you get ninety minutes of the best you can expect from a martial arts movie.
If you love Jackie Chan....it is a must for a collector's edition. Brilliant!!!!!
