Clark Kent is an ordinary school boy apart from the fact that he's an alien from the planet krypton and saves peoples lives almost evrey day, well almost ordinary. Smallville season 1 is an excellnt show i love learning about clarks up bringing and his roots. Clark has no problem saving people from evil Krptonite infected people, but still has the same teenage problems faced by his fellow school mates, i.e deciding who to ask to the problem is a much bigger issue than saving his friends lives from an evil bad guy. I love this show, but the episodes can be a bit repetative, i bought this after watching the series on tv to relive it again, my advice is not to buy it unless u know what this show is like as many people i know dislike it, however they don't love superman the way i do, this series is for anyone who like teenage shows with poor acting ect and who also loves superman or super heros and that is why i love this show so much.

I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good? If you add to this, or if you change it to be posted as a "Film Only" review, which can be done by accessing "edit review" in the top right of the review and changing the drop down menu under the "Which format are you reviewing?" question at the bottom, please let me know and I'll re-rate.

Sorry for the low rating. It's a good start but if you wanted higher ratings then you need to say more. My advice would be to read around other reviews and you'll see what I mean. If you edit this in any way let me know via my guestbook and I'll happily re-read it for you.
Advantages: Great action pieces, special effects, great actors & perfomances Disadvantages: One-off villains, 'dawson creek' moments and weak link actors
