Smallville started in 2001 and follows the story of a young Clark Kent (Tom Welling), his progression through and problems he encounters along the way. The pilot episode starts off by showing the meteor storm in which Clark arrived and the destruction caused by this, of which Clark later feels guilty about. The meteors not only cause devastation but they also spray kryptonite all over Smallville, making people acquire special powers in Smallville ...
...we discover a resident of smallville has been infected by meteor rock (kryptonite) enabling them to have special powers. They usually are in dire need for help and / or are using this power selfishly and for no good. ...so I decided to give Smallville a try. Childish and silly? How wrong was I?! I loved it, it's very addictive and once you start watching you won't want to turn it off! So many evenings I promised myself I would just watch one or two episodes...4 hours later I'm thinking...1 more episode wont hurt!
