feel like a bit of a comedown. Sky Blue Sky is mellow, moody, and uncharacteristically monotone, opening with a pleasant jangle and Jeff Tweedy singing a simple song: "Maybe the sun will shine today, the clouds will blow away." He doesn't even follow it up with a barbed punchline. Could it be that the restless Chicago band has settled back into its gentle Americana roots--or does this sudden mid-career reappraisal represent Wilco's gutsiest move yet? Mostly written in the studio by the full band, it's certainly the group's most cohesive album in ages, presenting a dense song cycle padded with intricate guitar work, brushed rhythms, and '70s soft-rock accents. In places it sounds like Wings ("Hate It Here"), in others Harry Nilsson ("Walken"), and in the middle it goes a bit Grateful Dead ("Shake It Off"). At the same time, there's a distinct sense of hearing a band finally at ease in its own skin. Sky Blue Sky represents the sound of Wilco finally pulling through its petulant adolescence. --Aidin Vaziri

GREAT GIG Review ofU2 - Go Home: Live From Slane Castle (Super Jewel Case)by
zoostationuk
Advantages: GREAT GIG AND SOUND Disadvantages: Dont know why you would want it in a CD case
...Track List
Elevation, Beautiful Day, Until The End Of The World, New Year's Day, Out Of Control, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Wake Up Dead Man, Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of, Kite, Angel Of Harlem, Desire, Staring At The Sun, All I Want Is You, Where The Streets Have No Name, Pride (In The Name Of Love), Bullet The BlueSky, With Or Without You, One, Walk On.
This ranks along side the Boston Elevation DVD not as many extras but still a fantastic DVD.This was a fantastic concert computured briliantly on this DVD.
A very emotional Gig with all the classics played, even an old time fan will love this DVD with their First ever Single being played.
I DONT get why you would want this is this CD Box format, i would have the other versions that come in the standard DVD box, each to their own....

Advantages: If you like Blue you'll love this Disadvantages: If you don't like Blue You'll hate this
...I didn't know what to think when I first put this DVD on. This DVD shows them at a private gig. It was more promo for their album then a gig. The whole DVD takes you through what they feel and what they've done to get the album out. This is a DVD for the fans I was a big Blue fan and bought most of the DVDs so naturally I bought this one. I liked the DVD but thats because I'm a fan. I would say though that if you haven't heard of Blue or seen them do a gig then you should get it just to see if you like what they are doing and so on. They are a pop band by the way but have a more rocky, rnb style to them.
All in all you have to like Blue to buy the DVD....
