First we see two young professional girls vying for promotion. Holly and Jen. They work in PR and at first as room-mates, they are friendly in competing, until the man they need to get an account with comes into the picture.
Both sleep with him, although one of the girls is ... ...up.
As their relationship goes bad, moves out and looks for another. This is where she finds the 'psycho!' Tess.
Answering the ad at first they both seem to get on great, have a lot in common, but gradually as in the first, subtle changes happen.
Hairstyles are copied, clothes are taken, and one night, Holly follows Tess wearing her clothes, and finds she enjoys a certain extreme fetish.

First we see two young professional girls vying for promotion. Holly and Jen. They work in PR and at first as room-mates, they are friendly in competing, until the man they need to get an account with comes into the picture.
Both sleep with him, although one of the girls is actually going out with him, and so the competition heats up.

Hairstyles are copied, clothes are taken, and one night, Holly follows Tess wearing her clothes, and finds she enjoys a certain extreme fetish.
For some reason, this makes Holly realise only now that Tess has issues, and so she decides to move out. After being back together with the boyfriend from earlier, she wants to move in with him. Sadly she tells Tess her plans.
It starts to heat up. Tess sees death as releasing people from pain, and after seeing her euthanise a patient( she is a nurse), she then goes to her threats, Jen and the boyfriend.
Finally, after one gets away ( I wont say which!) the police become involved, and at first they believe Tess who says they attacked her. She has a problem with this and it links into the fetish we see earlier.
Tess runs off though, knowing Holly has gone back to the flat for answers, then we see a big showdown and the eventual outcome. The sets are big, and convincing, but the attack scenes seem a bit wild and badly carried out.
At the end there is a good twist, that leaves it wide open for a sequel. I cant say how without revealing who survives, but its not expected!
This wasnt like the first one. The first was about suspense and mystery whereas this was obvious all the time about where it was going. I think the director may have got confused, as there were totally needless scenes of them in just bra and pants, kissing etc, that didnt make any sense at all - men pleaser bits LOL
It is a good film though, but not a thriller. Its more to watch the journey unfold as opposed to guessing who is where and who does what.
Worth a watch though, but dont compare it with the first. This is very much a 'teen movie' approach to the tale!
