I had no idea what to expect from this film, although on seeing the sticker on the case it certainly heightened my expectations, ( the sticker says - from Micheal Bedard, the emmy award winning creator of Sitting Ducks ...

Overall, I can recommend this film as a nice, easy-going comedy. It was followed by a sequel in 2002 (The SantaClause 2: The Mrs. Clause) and another in 2006 (The SantaClause 3: The Escape Clause). I have not yet seen either of these films but I hope to do so in the near future. ...

I have seen this and the original SantaClaus Film many many times (my 4 yr old being a huge fan of both ) I admit to enjoying "The SantaClause" and was secretly harbouring a touch of excitement for the release of "The SantaClause 2"
Story
We pick up again 8 years later where Santa (Tim Allen) has been happily delivering toys and playing tinsel football with the elves, unknown to him, his life is about to become rather difficult as Judy the elf armed with designer cocoa (a sure sign of bad news in Santa land) informs him that his son Charlie has got himself on the naughty list, and Curtis & Bernard have found that a second claus on the SantaClaus card has been overlooked, which means Santa has only 28 days to find and marry a "MrsClause"
