This is a collection of what appear to be 4 randomly chosen Simpsons episodes on one tape.

Over the past decades Springfields economy has been successively dwindling downwards. "Viva Ned Flanders"

Homer demands to know hoe Ned looks so long and he explains it is because his life has been so devout that he has NEVER gone wild. Ned realising he has wasted his life and has experienced so little, he gets Homer to teach him about fun with extreme consequences
"Homer at the Bat"
Homer fashions a lucky bat from a tree in the garden after it gets hit by lightning. With this bat he manages to hit home run after home run for the nuclear power plant softball term. Homer is so successful he gets the nickname "Home run Homer" and propels the team to the series final. Burns wagers $1million that his team will win against the owner of the other finalists and to guarantee victory fills his team with professional ringers sweeping the old team aside
All in all this is a good collection with 4 good episodes. Despite this however I would not recommend this video. My reasoning is that the episodes are in the end randomly picked and despite the simpsons rarely needing to be watched in chronological order it does add to the experience. In addition to this when comparing shop prices it is relatively poor value. At £12.99 an episode costs roughly £3.25. By comparison the series/half-series box sets are usually £30.99 and this is less than £2.60 an ep, quite a lot cheaper. In a nutshell save up and get the boxsets or upcoming DVD releases as they represent better value and are a better watch!

I have to say that The Simpsons, being the greatest programme ever, is watchable any time, any place in any order - but that price is just a little too much! Nice summary by the way. Take it easy

Good op, I admit I own this video. This is because HMV were doing a 2 for £10 offer on Simpsons videos. So it was better value, otherwise I doubt I would have got it.
