This is a superb film. My daughter has made me watch this thousands of times, 4 times a day to be presise and she knows everything as its going to happen. We never saw shrek 1 as i thought it was going to be another film with crappy animations, but they impressed so much i watched it..and loved it. Shrek (played by Mike Myers) along with his newlywed Fiona (Played by Cameron Diaz) comes back from there honeymoon to find their lonely companion donkey (played by Eddie Murphy) alone and sulking. They get a visit from the fancy pants club asking them to go back to fionas parents (played by John Cleese and Julie andrews). After a long journey and many "Are we there yets?", shrek knows he is in the wrong place. Shrek and fiona and donkey sit down to a very formal dinner. Unbeknown to shrek, whatever he did wouldn't change his father in laws mind. They begin to argue and have a very heated food fight, ending with fiona running out rather upset. Fionas father can't take anymore, he hires a hit man to kill shrek (played by antonio Bandreas), which fails as he gets a rather nasty hairball stuck in his throat, and he becomes a trusted friend to shrek. They go to the fairy god mother (played by Jennifier Saunders) for help but she has other plans. She wants her son Prince Charming (played by Rupert Everett) to marry fiona, but shrek will do anything for the woman/oger he fell in love with.....
This film has extras aswell with far far away idol featuring simon cowell as one of the judges and many more options so its not just the film you can watch.
