this is the animated story on shrek an ogre who lives in a bog. a muddy bog that is, he is a lonely ogre untill hs stumbles upon a load o fairytale creatures living in his back yard in an attemt to get rid of them he stumbles upon a funy donkey and they begin a treck to find the prince a princess in exchane for him emptying shreks back yard. this is a very funny story eddy murphy as donkey is just fantastic, the huge big teeth of donkey just screams murphy. mike myers is shrek though seems asthough he is just playing a version of himself with a scottish accent. this is fantastic for young and old. pleanty of older gags inhere too!
