Fimbles ? Smelly Jelly
I have to admit that Fimbles are not one of my favourite children?s programmes though my daughter loves it so we decided to go and get her a DVD so when we wanted to watch something on the television, she could watch it happily on the laptop ? which she enjoys doing as its mummy?s laptop and she isn?t meant to touch it!
The Fimbles are Fimbo, Florrie and Baby Pom, who all live in a lovely, colourful place called Fimble Valley. The Fimbles are cuddly hippo like creatures each with lovely colourful ?skins?. Other characters in this programme include a blue tree frog called Rockit and a mole called Roly Mo, a pink bird called Bessie and her chick Ribble. Most of the other characters are essentially large puppets except the chick who is just a great ball of fluff with eyes stuck on it, unmoving in the main ...
Advantages: Some good songs, Shiri has a nice voice Disadvantages: Too many average songs, not long enough
I'm not usually someone who goes out of my way to find new music artists, as I don't listen to a great variety of music, I tend to stick to what I know which is usually chart music! But a few years ago, there was a Eurovision song which really got stuck in my head, so much so I went online and downloaded it onto my iPod, and I still listen to it now, both in English and Hebrew! That song was Hasheket Shenish'ar, the Israel entry for 2005, and was sung by Shiri Maimon.
Standing On My Own is the first English speaking album release by Shiri Maimon, having previously been very succesful in her native Israel with her first 2 album releases. Shiri was a runner up on the Israel version of Pop Idol, Kokhav Nolad, so clearly was a great singer. So when I heard about this album, I set about trying to get a copy. It isn't sold on Amazon or any ...
Advantages: entertaining, great length, good features, appealing natural comedy Disadvantages: sorry, if you're under 12, its a no-go!
I am a Telly Addict. I'll admit it, it's my life. What's more, I love anything that has me in stitches. So what better than to combine two of my favourite things and come up with an amazing show?! Harry Hill's TV Burps is a comedy show, presented by Harry Hill, which airs every on and off on ITV1. He also writes the script for the show too, which must result in him non-stop working. It first started in 2001 when Hill was just 37, and has been a success for the last eight years now. Each episode, Hill takes us on a journey to look back at that weeks' television, and everything comic about it. Often, there is a celebrity guest appearing in the audience-filled studio, to bring the entertainment and laughter to a peak. Now we can enjoy this magic on a DVD!
For Christmas I had asked for Harry Hill's TV Burp Gold DVD, however I did not ...

DVD Description
In 1992, Hee was trained by a secret North Korean terrorist organisation to be a deadly assassin. Six years later, her extreme accuracy has taken the lives of many in South Korea, and Ryu--a special agent of OP, Korea's top secret intelligence agency--along with his cohort Lee, have devoted years to capturing slippery Hee to no avail. Ryu keeps his profession a secret from his pretty fiancee, Hyun--a recovering alcoholic who runs a tropical fish store. Meanwhile, Hee's organisation has hijacked a military truck transporting CTX, an explosive potent enough to destroy the entire city of Seoul, for potential use at a soccer match between North and South Korea, which is being staged as an attempt to heal the rocky relationship between the two countries. Ryu gets word of the potential destruction, but will he be able to find the mysterious Hee and stop it in time
