Well after scaring all the sea creatures you know what is going to happen next, Sprat spots a shark but nobody will listen to him. What will happen to Sprat?!
What do I think?
My son and I love this book as it has a great story but the best thing of all is this is a pop up book, each page comes to life I love how if you move the page Crab hides in his shell and Octopus looks so funny cramped in a treasure box trying to hide! The best thing of all is Shark but I am not going to tell you what happens you will have to purchase the book.
This book is so full of character and detail, each page is bright and colourful, as you turn the page the pop up will move it really is clever!
The other thing I like about this book is it catches my son`s attention, he will sit and listen to the whole of the story and then ...

Another great information book from usborne, with just the right amount of information for young children, and excellent illustrations.
The fact that it is in short sections means that young children can get all the information they need without finding it too onerous a task. I like the fact that the little statements and comments make it quite humorous, and Little Miss makes quite a story out of whether I think the small fish have managed to escape or if I think the sharks have ?got them?.
The front cover makes the book instantly appealing, and we noticed that the shiny stars actually have a different texture to the rest of the page, so the book becomes quite magical; the theme continues throughout the book with the under water scenes being beautifully illustrated.
