Advantages: Great comedy! The characters bear more than a passing resemblance to their celebrity voices! Disadvantages: Young children may not like it
...Shark Tale is another great animation from Dreamworks, the makers of the Shrek movies and Madagascar, to name but a few. I first saw this movie and the cinema and I liked it so much that I bought the DVD!
STORYLINE
The movie starts with a cute cartoon worm snagged on a line, at which point you start to wonder whether you are watching the main feature or one of those bonus animations that often precede films of this genre. Enter Lenny the shark (Jack Black), who circles the worm in a intimidating manner before exclaiming "Oh, little buddy, did I scare you?"
Cut to the opening scene, where viewers are introduced to the bustling reef that is the setting for most of the story. Oscar (Will Smith) is a little fish with high hopes, namely a penthouse apartment at the top of reef. In reality, Oscar works as a tongue...

Advantages: Great watch for all the family Disadvantages: none
.... Lucy him landing roles in two of last year's best films.

Advantages: Story, nice location Disadvantages: Where were the she-gods?
...at the film poster. This film doesn't really deliver here, the women even went swimming fully clothed. We have the old crone and the fat pearl guard. The rest of the women aren't really shown. Mahia is the only eye-candy. However, for some god forsaken reason the two men spent the entire film wearing nothing more than those weird miniskirts.
The picture quality of my DVD was not great at all. I've included pictures so you can have a look. Mine is the colour version. You can watch this for free as it is in the public domain in black and white and it may look a bit better in black and white.
I thought it was quite good. It was entertaining and has a reasonable enough story. It only lasts 62 minutes.
My DVD has no DVD extras. (I don't suppose talking about the actual picture quality of the DVD counts as having watched a DVD as mentioning...
