I rate this DDV highly and recommend it to anyone facinated by the concept of martail arts the strength of will displayed by its followers.
I recieved this DVD as a gift last christmas and I still watch it now and again. It was purchased for £10.99 I believe.
The "Kung-fuMastersLIVE" comprises of 20 monks and five young trainees, all of whom amaze the viewers with their hynotic and pain defying feats. Monks are lifted aloft sharpened spears, sandwiched between beds of nails, break marble slabs with their heads, swallow swords, perform hand stands on two finger tips and do endless back flips using heads not hands.
The monks' mind over matter skills drew gasps of disbelief from the audience, and from me. So if I was asked "did you enjoy it?" I would say "How couldn't I?". This is a really enjoyable 90 ...

KungFu Panda is an American animated comedy film which was first released in 2008. It was directed by John Stevenson and Mark Osborne and runs for 92 minutes. It features the voices of many famous actors and actresses and is set in ancient China.
~The Plot~
I won't give too much away about the plot as it spoils it for those reviewers who have not yet had the pleasure of seeing the movie. The film centres around Po - an overweight, unfit panda who works in the noodle business with his father but dreams of better things. He aspires to be a kung-fu expert but doesn't stand a chance in hell of ever becoming that.

and KungFu. Po is a Panda. Unfortunately he is rather large (like most Panda's in the world) and is rather lazy and doesn't do very much. He works in his fathers noodle shop. His father is a goose, there is a rather funny part later in the movie when they realise he is different than his father. His father loves the noodle shop as it has been passed down to him from generation to generation and he would love Po to take over once he is gone but Po has other ideas. He dreams of being a KungFuMaster but unfortunately does not possess any of the skills necessary!
